Forget ME not Charity Event - May 2023

We spent the month of May, the international ME-awareness month, filled with beautiful musical performances, raffles and giveaways, and of course lots of awareness and fundraising for OMF, in the virtual world of Second Life.

Thanks to each of them for contributing in their own way and making our first May event so special. Much gratitude also to our 2 fantastic bloggers of this event who both did more than they were asked to: Sunsetdream and Jerzzie Reece-Redstar.

We raised a total of 382 US dollars to OMF during this event. Thank you so much to each and every one of our donors. Most of all we raised awareness with the help of your patient exhibit (warm thanks to everyone involved) and built community.

Thanks to videographer Jackson Redstar, we were able to LIVE stream the full shows of a few of our performers. This was live streamed from Second Life to our Facebook and Youtube for everyone to see. We also recorded some short bits and pieces from all of our shows. You can enjoy them all once again in the videos below.

We ended our May campaign with an exclusive film screening on May 28, screening two shorts "The body with no face" by April Hook, "Life in the shadowlands" by Sunniva Innstrand and the award-winning main film "Unrest" by Jennifer Brea.
